Uni adds new sport diploma
Torrens University Australia recently launched a Diploma of Sport Development to encourage students in a sports career.
It is designed "to provide a solid foundation in the necessary skills to work in the health, sport and leisure sector, such as designing and evaluating health promotion strategies and developing solutions to a wide array of challenges in the areas of human nutrition, health and fitness."
Says the university, graduates of this programme will progress to become sports development managers, competition managers, program developers, talent development managers and sports programme co-coordinators.
