The biggest display of ecommerce technology and solutions in the southern hemisphere are just some of the highlights promised for Online Retailer Conference and Expo in Sydney next week.

Among speakers is Jay Basnight of Dicks's Sporting Goods in the USA (pictured) who brings together fragmented organisations and teams to create a holistic experience for truly engaged customers.

Previously, as head of digital strategy for PUMA’s international marketing department, he oversaw the design and development of single centralised digital and social marketing platform that allowed individual countries and international to collaborate on global and local campaigns.

•  Simon Russell, Director, Retail Operations Development who will lift the lid on John Lewis' digital and Omni channel journey that has driven the business to online sales exceeding $2bn, plus the impact of a new platform and plans for future initiatives;

• Jill Dvorak oversees strategy and implementation of merchandising and marketing for National Geographic's online store with the goal of driving store traffic, sales, conversion and customer retention; and

• Larry Promisel, Camuto Group is a recognised leader in real world Omni channel strategies and will share successful strategies and anecdotes that have been executed at some of the largest global retailers.
