CCC named as NRL’s top licensee

Sportswear and merchandise manufacturer, Canterbury, has been named as the NRL’s  “Licensee of the Year” for 2012.

General Manager, Business Development, Nicole Pensko says Canterbury is delighted  to win the award.

“Canterbury prides itself on working closely with clubs to develop customised ranges for the team, and high quality merchandise to service the relationships with clubs, sponsors and fans.

"The sales team and support staff work hard to ensure retailers are continually in stock and are provided with the best level of service – this award is recognition for the entire team at Canterbury," Pensko says.

In the 2012 season, Canterbury claims record sales for all of its licensed NRL teams, with the top three sales results across all 16 NRL teams and the State of Origin.

“Queensland State of Origin has always been an enormous success but to see the Warriors and Bulldogs number one and two across all clubs is an outstanding result,” Pensko says.

Canterbury reports it is set for another strong year with the Kangaroos as its newest partnership, and the upcoming Rugby League World Cup.
