ASGA’s ‘counterfeit’ breakfast seminar

Again focussing on a  perennial issue for the Australian Sporting Goods Association – trademarks and their protection – a breakfast seminar will be held in early October to address member concerns on the new legislation.

Speaker will be  Parliamentary Secretary for Industry and Innovation Mark Dreyfus who will discuss the new trademark protection which will come into effect in April 2013.

The government’s new trademark protection regime provides new penalties for counterfeiting and stronger powers to seize counterfeit imports

The seminar will be held at the Melbourne chambers of  ASGA lawyers Corrs Chambers Westgarth.
