ASGA campaign to fight counterfeit

ASGA has joined with the Australian Retailers Association, other industry associations and law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth to start an anti-counterfeiting campaign.  

This election year is a great opportunity to get commitments from all political parties about improving Australia’s anti-counterfeiting laws.laws, reports ASGA executive director Shannon Walker.

“For this campaign to be successful we will need your support.

“We  will collect data from sporting goods companies about counterfeit seizures of those company’s products and any market information they have about counterfeit products in Australia.

“All the information supplied will be confidential, anonymous and aggregated, so no market sensitive information is released,” he says.
