‘Explosive power ‘ is Skins theme
Comic book heroes are the crowd pleasers in the Skins advertising campaign to promote the new Power Shorts, focussing on the ‘explosive power ‘ they give their wearers.
The campaign features three athletes appearing like comic book superheros soaring through an illustrated stadium created by Marvel Comics illustrator Jean Sebastian Rossbach.
Three brand ambassadors – AFL’s Tom Rockliff, Rugby Union’s Matt Toomau and the NRL’s everwhere man Johnathan Thurston – appear in the print and digital campaigns from M&C Saatchi
Marketing manager Erin Chapman says, “The Skins Power Shorts are an Australian first, and we have worked very hard to create a campaign that differentiates us from the rest of the pack and positions us as an industry leader.”
Sales Director Adam Gibbons says, “Compression is still core for Skins and the Power Shorts are a very exciting new offering.”
